What we eat is associated with obesity and cavities in teeth.

If we are overweight we need to reduce our food intake and increase our exercise preferably under medical supervision.

Celery and other fresh foods like lettuce can help even if you cannot exercise.

Celery weight loss diet
Avoid carbohydrate like bread, cereal, potatoes, biscuits, cake, sweets, pizza, fruit, etc. till you have lost around 10 kilos.
Just 20 gr. of porridge or oats and a glass of tomato juice at breakfast. For variation try a poached egg on silver beat.
About 100 gr. of protean lean meat, fish eggs, etc. and as much greens or salads as you like at each other meal with coffee or tea.
Drink plenty of water or about 2 liter of fluid a day.

Chewing celery after meals or snacks removes trapped food and helps saliva neutralise acid and repair demineralised tooth.
Chewing cheese before eating seals grooves and prevents food being trapped while eating. Good idea for school lunches.
